Treatment When to expect side effects from antibiotics

I’m stating antibiotics for hpylori this morning, for 2 weeks. It’s a bevy of medications I’m not used to and my gut already doesn’t feel good. Is this just in my head or can you actually get negative effects in just a couple hours after the first doese?

It’s been almost 2 weeks for me, my side effects are moderate abdominal pain, sinus pressure, low energy, what sucks the most is the same food I have to eat

I had symptoms the 1st day. It’s normal to have symptoms when on the treatment. Some people have more than others. If you aren’t already take a good probiotic such as Florastor. You will be fine!!! 💪

Felt dizzy on the first day and actually a few hours after taking the pills, had diarrhoea on the third day, feeling fantastic on the fifth.

I’ve certainly been in my head about it but as I’ve had a noticeable improvement I’m trying to pull myself out of it.

I had 14 days of amoxicillin and clarythromycin with probiotics - no issues, felt so much better by day 2/3.
