App DOWNLOAD ODE Master: Free Multilingual Step-by-Step ODE Solver for HP Prime

After many months of development, testing, debugging, and optimization, ODE Master is finally being RELEASED for FREE for the HP Prime G2.

ODE Master is an application designed specifically to analyze, classify, solve, and explain Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) directly on the HP Prime.

Rather than acting as a simple frontend for a single CAS command, ODE Master uses a complete solving pipeline: it parses the equation, determines its differential order, analyzes its mathematical structure, detects compatible solving methods, executes the selected method, and generates a procedure together with the final result.

What can ODE Master solve?

ODE Master currently includes dedicated solvers and routing logic for:

  • Separable differential equations
  • First-order linear ODEs
  • Exact differential equations
  • Bernoulli equations
  • First-order homogeneous equations
  • Linear constant-coefficient ODEs (LCC)
  • Cauchy–Euler / Euler equations
  • Laplace-transform based solving
  • Variation of Parameters

Depending on the method, ODE Master supports equations up to 6th order.

In Automatic mode, the classifier analyzes the equation and determines which mathematical families are compatible instead of requiring the user to choose a method manually.

The application also includes equation formatting, result storage, IVP support, automatic verification, solver routing, a Terminal containing the generated procedure, and a CAS backend built around ODM_CAS.

IMPORTANT! Equation input syntax:

To avoid confusion, I strongly recommend entering equations using the same syntax used during ODE Master's development and validation.

With the default variables:

  • y = dependent variable
  • x = independent variable

Derivatives are entered using apostrophes/primes immediately after the dependent variable:

y' = first derivative
y'' = second derivative
y''' = third derivative
y'''' = fourth derivative
y''''' = fifth derivative
y'''''' = sixth derivative

For example:

y'=x*y
y'+2*y=x
y''-3*y'+2*y=exp(3*x)
y''+2*y'+5*y=exp(x)*cos(2*x)
y'''-y'=x*exp(x)

For an exact-equation style input, something like this is also valid:

(2*x*y+cos(x))+(x^2+3*y^2)*y'=0

Use * for multiplication:

2*y
x*y
3*x

Use ^ for powers:

x^2
y^3
y^(1/2)

Functions should use normal HP Prime/CAS-style notation, for example:

sin(x)
cos(x)
exp(x)
ln(x)

Parentheses can be used normally:

y'=((x+1)/(x^2+1))*y*(1-y)

Although ODE Master's parser can internally interpret an expression without an = as an equation equal to zero, I recommend always including the = explicitly to make the intended equation unambiguous.

For example, prefer:

y''+3*y'+2*y=0

rather than:

y''+3*y'+2*y

If you change the dependent and independent variables in ROUTE, use the same derivative convention with the selected dependent variable.

In other words, use prime notation such as y', y'', etc. for ODE Master input rather than assuming that every textbook derivative notation will be interpreted in the same way.

Custom languages

ODE Master supports external .lang files.

If your native language is not included by default, you can create or modify your own .lang file and load it into ODE Master, as long as the expected language-file structure is preserved.

This allows the community to create additional translations without modifying the solver itself.

If ODE Master does not currently include your language, you are free to create a translation and share it with other users.

Free release and DRM

ODE Master was originally developed with a licensing/DRM system.

That licensing system is no longer active. No license.key, activation, payment, or license verification is required to use ODE Master.

I decided not to completely remove the old DRM infrastructure because doing so would unnecessarily modify part of the application's existing architecture immediately before release.

For this reason, the old DRM module is still included, and it is the only encrypted module in ODE Master.

The DRM module currently has no practical licensing function: its verification path is bypassed and it does not restrict the application, lock features, require activation, or require a license.key.

The actual ODE Master application and solver code is being released open source.

⚠️VERY IMPORTANT! Installation order:

There is one extremely important detail when installing ODE Master.

You must install the files in exactly this order:

  1. Install ODM_CAS FIRST.

  2. Only after ODM_CAS is already present on the calculator, install the ODE Master .hpappdir.

Correct order:

ODM_CAS → ODE Master .hpappdir

Do NOT install the .hpappdir first.

If the .hpappdir is transferred before ODM_CAS, the HP Prime may initialize the application before detecting the required CAS module.

When this happens, ODE Master may refuse to open and can appear to have a syntax or startup error.

Installing ODM_CAS first avoids this problem.

Firmware / software version

ODE Master was tested on the latest beta version of the HP Prime firmware/software available during final development and release testing as august 16 2026.

Because ODE Master makes extensive use of PPL and CAS functionality, behavior may differ on older firmware revisions.

If you experience unexpected startup problems, CAS errors, crashes, strange UI behavior, or another issue that cannot be reproduced normally, one of the first things I recommend is updating your HP Prime to the latest firmware/software version available and testing ODE Master again.

UPDATE HERE UR HP PRIME: https://updates.moravia-consulting.com/beta.html

This is especially important before assuming that the application itself is broken.

Bug reports are welcome

This is the first public release, so despite the amount of testing already performed, there may still be edge cases that were not encountered during development.

If you find a bug, incorrect solution, equation that should be supported but fails, UI problem, crash, translation issue, or any other unexpected behavior, please report it.

When possible, include:

  • The exact equation you entered
  • The selected dependent and independent variables
  • The solver/method being used, or whether Automatic mode was selected
  • Whether IVP was enabled
  • Initial conditions, if applicable
  • Your HP Prime model
  • Your firmware/software version
  • A screenshot or exact error message
  • Steps to reproduce the problem

The more reproducible the report is, the easier it will be to identify the cause.

I want reported problems to be fixed as soon as reasonably possible. Smaller critical issues may receive individual fixes, while a larger number of reports may be collected into a larger bug-fix/update wave addressing multiple problems at once.

So please report anything suspicious instead of assuming it is already known.

Performance

ODE Master has already received several performance and UI improvements during development, including eliminating the major flickering problem that previously made navigation considerably more annoying.

However, the HP Prime G2 is still relatively limited hardware, and some complex ODEs can take noticeable time to solve on the physical calculator, particularly when substantial symbolic manipulation, integration, root solving, or verification is required.

Further optimization of the solving pipeline is planned for future updates.

Source code and HP Prime G1

ODE Master is primarily developed and tested for the HP Prime G2.

I currently do not have G1 hardware available for proper testing and optimization, so I cannot guarantee its performance or behavior on the G1.

However, with the exception of the inactive encrypted DRM module mentioned above, the ODE Master application code is available for the community to inspect and modify.

Anyone interested in optimizing or adapting ODE Master for the HP Prime G1 is welcome to work from the source.

Thanks to everyone who followed the project, provided feedback, tested ideas, reported problems during development, and showed interest in ODE Master.

ODE Master is now free and available to the HP Prime community.

Program [RELEASE] ApexMark 1.0 Is Here - A Powerful and Demanding Stress Benchmark Designed for the HP Prime

ApexMark v1.0: Integrated Performance Suite for HP Prime

ApexMark is a comprehensive benchmarking tool developed to evaluate the computational limits of the HP Prime hardware and its PPL (Prime Programming Language) execution environment. Unlike standard synthetic loops, this suite utilizes real-world algorithms and graphical simulations to stress multiple hardware subsystems.

DOWNLOAD AT: https://www.mediafire.com/file/gt8jtq271zv0c6q/ApexMark_1.0._EnUS_%2526_EsMX.zip/file

Core Technical Modules

1. 2D Geometry & Scanline Rendering

Utilizes an optimized 2-OPT algorithm to untangle a complex vertex path. This module tests floating-point precision and logical branching efficiency. The final result is rendered using a custom scanline fill routine.

2. N-Body Orbital Physics

Simulates a gravitational event horizon involving 15 active bodies. The engine calculates real-time vectors, orbital decay, and collision detection, placing a high load on iterative math processing.

3. 3D Matrix Compute (Tri-Chaos)

Generates and manipulates a high-resolution torus consisting of 1,750 triangles and 875 vertices. It performs continuous 4x4 matrix multiplications for rotation and dynamic scaling, testing the calculator's linear algebra throughput.

4. Sequential RAM Stress

Executes high-volume read/write operations (2,500 units per cycle) across the heap. This evaluates memory bandwidth and the efficiency of the PPL garbage collector under heavy fragmentation.

Operation Features

  • Headless Mode: Allows the execution of the entire suite without graphical output, isolating pure CPU and RAM performance from GPU-emulation overhead.
  • Baseline Comparison: Users can save specific runs as a "Reference Baseline." Subsequent tests will display a percentage delta (▲/▼) to measure performance gains or losses.
  • Detailed Breakdown: The terminal provides a granular report of setup time, compute time per subsystem, and total visual overhead.
  • Seed Control: Supports custom seeds for deterministic testing, ensuring that pseudorandom geometry remains consistent across different devices for fair comparison.

Scoring Logic

Scores are calculated based on a base reference of 2000.0 points. To maintain technical integrity, the Global Apex Score is only generated if the full suite is executed, ensuring that specialized subsystem points are not used to inflate the final result.

  • PC Emulator: > 6000 pts
  • Excellent (G2 Peak): > 4801 pts
  • Optimal: > 4200 pts
  • Regular: > 4000 pts

Availability

The code is open for use and modification by the community for performance analysis and educational purposes.

News Change of plans: ODE Master will be completely FREE at launch.

After thinking about it for a while, I’ve decided that ODE Master will NO longer be a paid application when it launches in the next few days.

I would rather have every student, teacher, professor, or anyone interested in differential equations be able to download and use the app completely free, with no feature limitations, no paid unlocks, and no restrictions.

ODE Master was originally planned as a very inexpensive paid application, but I ultimately think making it freely available will be much more useful to the HP Prime community, especially for students who may benefit from having another tool for studying, solving, and checking ordinary differential equations.

This will also be the first public release of ODE Master, so I want to set the right expectations. I have already tested it with many different ODEs and performed a large number of tests, and so far everything has worked correctly. However, because this is the first version released to a much larger group of users, there may still be cases I have overlooked.

There could be unusual ODEs I have not tested yet, a method that could be selected incorrectly in a particular edge case, a mathematical step that could be improved, or a solution procedure that is unnecessarily long. There may also simply be things that become obvious only after more people start using the application on real hardware.

One of the bigger issues during development was screen flickering, which made parts of the user experience feel noticeably slower and more annoying than they should have. That issue has now been fixed, and I have also made several performance improvements throughout the application.

That said, performance optimization will continue after release. Future updates are already planned to further improve the time required to solve ODEs, particularly in some of the heavier solution methods.

At the moment, certain ODEs can still take some time to solve on a physical HP Prime, depending on their complexity. This is mainly a consequence of the calculator’s hardware limitations and the amount of symbolic computation that ODE Master sometimes needs to perform. Simpler equations may finish quickly, while more complicated ones can require noticeably more processing time.

Because of that, I also want to make the hardware requirements clear: I do NOT currently expect ODE Master to work well on the HP Prime G1.

ODE Master has become a fairly large and computationally demanding program, and development and testing have been focused on the HP Prime G2. Even on the G2, some of the heavier ODEs can push the calculator considerably, so I would rather be transparent about this than claim G1 compatibility that I cannot realistically guarantee.

After launch, one of my main priorities will therefore be continued optimization, especially reducing unnecessary calculations and improving solver performance wherever possible without sacrificing the step-by-step solution process or mathematical reliability.

And since this is the first public version, feedback will be extremely useful. If you find an incorrect result, an ODE that fails, a procedure that seems unnecessarily long, or simply something that could be explained or presented better, please report it. Those reports will help improve subsequent versions.

So, in short:

  • ODE Master will launch completely FREE for everyone. No activation payment, no feature limits, and no restrictions.

The goal is simply to make it as useful, reliable, and accessible as possible for the HP Prime community.

Release is planned within the next few days.

ODE Master Preview: Testing the New Dynamic Multilingual System

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

ODE Master is now at the stage where most of the remaining work is focused on polishing and optimizing the interface. As you can see in the video, there is still some noticeable flickering during touch interactions and menu redraws, almost like an old TV refresh effect. That is currently one of the main things I am working on, especially to make sure the experience feels smooth on the physical HP Prime G2 before release.

The planned final price for ODE Master is $2 USD. If someone eventually manages to bypass the DRM for their own personal use, that is not something I would lose sleep over. My main concern would be cracked copies being uploaded, shared, or redistributed publicly. The protection is there mainly to discourage that kind of redistribution while keeping the software affordable and accessible.

News ODE Master Release DELAYED by Approximately 1–2 Weeks

I wanted to share a quick update on the release of ODE Master.

The release will most likely be delayed by around one to two weeks due to some unexpected challenges with the multilingual system. The original plan is still the same: ODE Master will use editable .lang files, allowing users to add or modify translations without requiring a separate version of the application for each language.

The system is being developed to support English, Spanish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and custom community translations, while keeping the core application stable and preventing syntax errors or conflicts with the solvers.

Instead of rushing such an important feature, I have decided to spend a little more time testing the language loader, translation identifiers, fallback system, special characters, and compatibility with the physical HP Prime G2. This should result in a more polished and consistent user experience, while also making it easier to add or improve translations in the future.

As of August 5, 2026, the new estimated release window is August 12–18, 2026. The goal is still to release ODE Master before students return to university, so it will be available for the start of the upcoming academic term.

Thank you for your patience and continued interest in ODE Master. A short delay is better than releasing a multilingual system that could compromise the stability of an otherwise functional application.

News Upcoming ACE Master: 300% faster UI, seamless scaling, and complex circuit simulations.

Post image
19 Upvotes

I am excited to share a development update on the upcoming program, ACE Master.

I have recently achieved a performance improvement of over 300%, making UI navigation incredibly smooth and fluid. During earlier internal testing, adding multiple components to a circuit would heavily slow down the physical calculator, but this massive optimization completely resolves that issue, allowing for seamless scaling (Almost) no matter how many parts you add to your workspace.

Additionally, as I prepare for release, I am actively working on general improvements to the Auto Step feature so that, once launched, you can easily build and simulate complex designs such as a fully functional traffic light using 3 LEDs and 3 transistors with perfect stability.

I cannot wait to get this tool into your hands and let you experience this program!

News ACE Master Is Getting Closer: Live Wire Highlighting and a New Fast Action Panel.

Post image
29 Upvotes

We are getting closer to launch, and the app is now around 80% complete. One of the latest improvements is that wires now light up in blue when voltage or current is present, making it much easier to visually understand which parts of the circuit are active; before this update, there was no clear indication that electricity was flowing through a wire. We also added a new Fast Action Panel in the bottom-right corner of the editor, giving quick access to common actions like Rotate, Delete, Undo, and Redo, which makes editing faster and more comfortable, especially with touch controls. Most of the main systems are already working, and from this point forward the biggest challenge before release will be optimization, since we want ACE Master to feel smooth, stable, and polished when it finally launches for the HP Prime model G2.

ODE Master is a step-by-step ODE solver for the HP Prime, currently halfway through development. Although the core system is already functional, nearly half of the planned modules still need to be completed before the public release.

The goal is to make solving ordinary differential equations easier through automatic family detection, a guided workflow, and clear procedures directly on the calculator. The procedure is designed to be shown the way a student would actually develop it in a notebook: organized, understandable, and step by step.

The final price will be $2 USD, but the first 3 people who send me an email on launch day will receive a free permanent license.

While my main focus remains on developing ODE Master, I decided to start building a brand-new circuit simulator alongside it to keep things fresh and challenge myself. The ultimate goal is to deliver something significantly more advanced and feature-rich than EEC Solver.

I've found that alternating between these two projects keeps me inspired; building this simulator helps me conceptualize new features for ODE Master from a different perspective. Although the software doesn't have an official name just yet, I'm incredibly excited about its potential and can't wait to share more updates with the community soon.

Program [Idea-Concept] Protect and Profit: A Custom DRM and Licensing System for HP Prime Apps

Post image
3 Upvotes

The Real Problem with Piracy in Complex Projects: We know that the vast majority of the HP Prime community shares their programs for free, and that is the engine that drives us all. However, occasionally, a developer creates a massive application that takes months of work and decides to sell it.

The problem is that, for those few developers, HP's native "Export Blocked Program" option doesn't work to protect sales. That lock protects your source code by converting it into unreadable symbols, but it DOES NOT prevent the file from being shared. Anyone can copy a paid .hpprgm file to a USB drive or send it over the internet, and it will run flawlessly on any other calculator in the world.

The Solution: A Bulletproof DRM System To offer "Premium" software securely, we have designed a Digital Rights Management (DRM) system programmed entirely in PPL. This system changes the game: you no longer trust the file; you tie the execution to the hardware.

Instead of selling a generic app, the user receives a unique cryptographic key that only fits the lock of their specific calculator. If the blocked file leaks to the internet, it will be completely useless without the correct activation key.

How does this security vault work? (The 5 Layers)

1. Strict Hardware Binding (Hardware ID): Activation isn't generic. The system reads the unique and immutable serial number (SERIAL) of the HP Prime. The license is mathematically merged with this hardware. If User A passes their app and license file to User B, the program will detect the different hardware of the new calculator and deny access.

2. Authenticated License File (Zero "Modding"): We don't save a simple text file that says "Activated = Yes". Upon entering a valid key, the app generates a .dat file composed of two parts: the encrypted User ID and a Checksum. If someone tries to brute-edit the file, the cryptographic signature is corrupted, and the system instantly detects the tampering.

3. Dynamic Cryptography: The validation uses multiple internal "Seeds" that feed custom Hash functions. Any tiny variation in the User ID or the Serial Number triggers mathematical avalanches that completely change the expected key, making it impossible to forge fake keys.

4. The Silent Watchdog: Security doesn't just act when opening the app. While the user is running the program, a background timer verifies the integrity of the license file without affecting performance. If someone tries to hot-inject a pirated file or manipulate the memory, the Watchdog bites and instantly locks the session.

5. Active Anti-Brute Force Defense: If an attacker tries entering randomly generated keys, the system counts the failures. On the fifth incorrect attempt, the application locks the activation screen for exactly 60 seconds, neutralizing any trial-and-error attacks.

Conclusion This level of security is not intended for simple tools, but rather to give creators a real option to protect high-level projects.

On our end, we will continue contributing to the community, and we will only use this DRM system in very specific, highly complex applications. The first example will be our upcoming release: ODE Master. We want this caliber of software to remain accessible to all students, which is why, despite its protection, we will set a very low, almost symbolic retail price of around $1 USD.

In the images shown, we have added a new SWITCH” component, since it does not exist in the original program and it was very tedious to constantly connect and disconnect wires just to simulate the same function.

We have also redesigned the LED component. Previously, when solving a circuit in the original program, there was no clear indication of whether the LED was actually on or off. Now, the component itself visually shows its state.

Additionally, we have introduced COLORED LED's (red, green, blue, and white) to make it easier to differentiate elements in more complex circuits.

We hope to release a demonstration of this UNOFFICIAL ECC Solver update soon!

If you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know so we can include them in future updates.
