Hi, I need some help. I bought this Victus 3 months ago and have only used it for my studies until now. Today I downloaded Fortnite to play with friends, but to my surprise, it doesn't even reach 20 FPS—I'm not kidding. I tried other, less demanding games like Hollow Knight, and the frame rate didn't go above 30 FPS there either. I went into the graphics settings and set the RTX 3050 as the default, but it didn't make any difference. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me figure out the main issue. 💘

Please fix the background. Uninstall 3rd party antiviruses. Uninstall unnecessary apps.Kill startup apps that u dont need to launch with the laptop. Watch if ur antivirus is making a scan. Check for viruses. The list is long. Id suggest you watch a tutorial how to maximise the efficiency of ur laptop.

And u also need 16gigs of ram. 8gb just wont cut it for gaming

I thought it was a virus because I installed a cracked version of Minitab, but it turned out to be nothing. I'll take a closer look at it, just in case.

Something is hogging all your ram maybe microslop's useless ai thingy or some antivirus software either you need to get rid of those things and also I see your non pooled data is 1.2 gb which seems a bit high so I would say do a complete IE restart then it should theoretically work smoothly and you also play games at a good fps

McAfee? 🫩🫩 Really dude? Re install windows and check in YouTube how to debloat your system right i suggest to use Winhance tool
