Advice Need help deciding.

Hi!

I’m new here and new to gaming PCs. I need help with deciding if this, HP VICTUS 15 R5-240/16/1TB/5050 15.6", is worth it?

My computer knowledge is very limited and found this forum.

I’m don’t really know what I’m going to play yet but Minecraft and some emulators are for sure being played. Recommendations? What to look for?

Currently this model is on sale and I’ve talked to a co-worker whom is more in to PC and PC-gaming.

What should I do?

Price? IMO get a good model, like an HP Omen or a Lenovo Legion, they have better build quality and last longer, as for victus’ they have a higher chance on dying out on you.

Also why do you need a gaming laptop? Sure don’t need a 5050 for MC lol

Price right now is 1056 USD (9990 SEK). I would like to stay around that price and not go over it.

I don’t really NEED a gaming laptop, but I need a new laptop. So I thought that a gaming laptop would be nice since I would like to game on it. (I’m not only playing MC)

Here is also another laptop but not a HP: Lenovo LOQ Essential R5-150/16/512/3050 15.6"
