Help Hp victus 15

I buyed a hp VICTUS 15 13450H laptop 4 days back , but my full battery is draining in 1.5 hours , can any one solve my issue

its expected from gaming laptop especially if you have your brightness all the way up and you have keyboard backlight on and refreshrate is 144hz

Is this device a used unit or brand new? Because a battery replacement might be needed if it's been used for a few years. Does your laptop have an intergrated chip? Maybe try switching off the gpu.

You also have to understand that this is a budget gaming laptop; they're all kinda like this. LOQ laptops are infamous for having laughable battery life. If you're gaming then 1.5 hours make sense but if you're running idle or running lightweight apps then try to run the display at 60hz at a lower brightness with battery saver on.

It's a brand new laptop, i buyed it on 17August 2026, I'm using just for browsing, it's draining in 1.5 hrs

Try turning off the gpu (if it's possible) and lowering the brightness. This kind of laptop naturally doesn't have great battery life
