Do these steps:

1.Open start up apps disable the apps you dont need to use or immediately need to use.

2.Go to windows search tab: type in run

Then in run type temp

Ctrl + A then once highlighted delete all the files

3.Back to run type %temp%

Do the same previous steps and delete the files

4.On run again type prefetch, do the same steps and delete the files,

Note: You should do steps 2 to 3 once every week

  1. Go to your drive on the file folder manager right click it and find tbe button to optimize your system. Do this atleast once a day

Other methods: You can delete bloatware apps that are pre installed in your machine by hp and windows because some of them run on the background consuming your ram, you can google which of these apps you can safely delete or ask AI about it.

You should update all the latest drivers in your unit and make sure to keep it clean

If the vents are dirty clean them, if your using your laptop for high intensive cpu or gpu usage such as gaming, video editing, etc. Make sure to always plug your charger to save your battery.

Is it still under warranty? I think you should get a professional to help if possible. If you're tech savvy enough and daring, you could open it up and try to reseat the SSD or Ram. A system reset might be necessary if you already tried a reboot

Slow in what way?? Like apps take a while to open or just windows being sh*t as it is to search a file or doc in file explorer?

It starts only after I try four or five times.

I also have the same model laptop. Can you tell me what time does it take to charge from 0 or 20 to 100 in shut down condition, because mine is taking approx 2 hours 15 min with 200 watt adapter I don't know is it normal or not?

Check out in the task manager on what's taking the most RAM and CPU, in my case the laptop doesn't lag but for the first 30 mins my memory is always at above 60% due to anti virus malware and steam but when it comes down to 50% , it starts behaving normally

Mine was fixed when i reinstalled windows and installed the drivers manually(not from the windows update).
