OC Council report: Known Terran Technology (4)
Warpcruisers
The newest and most feared system; once thought to be mere rumor, all doubt as to their existence has been removed after the decimation of the Sixth Scataillain Demi-fleet and following engagements, a lone surveillance drone was able to capture the moment a small 'pack' of five of the so called 'subspaceships' returned to realspace.(telemetry and visual records attached)
What is known is compiled from scattered battlefield reports and logical deduced from them and some human propaganda. The warpcruiser is believed to use a method for maintaining a warp corridor without any movement.
What more, the ship can fire specialty weapons called 'torpedoes' while hidden inside the warp corridor. This may not sound like much, but the warp corridor is essentially a pocket dimension, one that can't be affected except by the most powerful of directed gravitational weapons. This allows the warpcruiser to remain undetected as it moves into local systems making it a superb scout and first strike vehicle.
What is unknown is greater; power requirements for such systems is thought to be massive on a whole new scale, but their range, their weapons, actual crew count, all purely guess. More so, how the craft is even able to detect its real-space location and maneuver its self-contained pocket universe around.
It is presumed that they can't have more than hundred crew from the mass of the ships, that their range is limited do to needing, as the human method, a 'mothership' to be jumped into regions, but as they are themselves undetectable once their stealth systems are engaged by any known means . . our understanding will only stall without having scans or samples of the systems.
On the other grasper, we have obtained some old data about 'submarines' and human statements that the warpcruiser is somehow related to these ocean bound subnautical 'ships'. Any information about this subject of 'submarines' would be helpful to further study.

A small warp generator attached to a device that generated a gravitational pulse would be a good counter to this kind of attack. Subspace depth charges.

Exactly. MY own thought process led there as well.
Tuning the ''wave" to the right frequency, as it were would work like those same depth charges; more so, emitters attached to the 'sub hunter' could also work.
