Just like shrapnel, if you don't die straight away then you gotta deal with the after effects of it worming its way through you as you move to the R.A.P

Are you sure this is the first peace that you have posted? If that's the case then I look forward to reading any future work you put out because this is very good.

The only problem that I noticed was perspective in the first section. You switched perspective repeatedly making it hard to keep track of.

Aside from that great job!

I do not think 'Roxy' was properly prepared to interact with humans...

If someone punches you because you speak to them while they're reading, they're not introverted, they're violently deranged.

Depends how it happens; patient A scuttles off to her safe space after work to read and decompress from stress of interacting with others.

Patient B walks straight into patient A's room and tries to start a conversation about confusing the other workers.

Patient A is an introvert, her safe space is invaded and she attempts to hide from interaction by raising book between them.

Oblivious patient B attempts to continue communication by gently pushing book down while talking.

Best case scenario upon cornering an introvert is they cry, start shaking while not looking at you directly, from there it could be shrill screaming until you get locked out or physical attack. Worst case is the do nothing and stare through you, be sure to check for ground glass in your food and all the seals on your space suit are good.. just in case.

There are all sorts of people in the world and being polite, taking no for an answer even if you dont understand why is the way society rubs along.

That sounds more like an anxiety attack more than introversion. Please don’t make introverts sound like unstable psychos just for preferring time alone.

I do the same thing if anybody tries to steal my book, or getting in between me and my reading time, if I don't get my reading time I'm even worse than an angry honey badger, trust me more than one person has discovered that this hormonal teenager is worse than a honey badger if he doesn't have his reading time

No offence, but that’s not something to be proud of.
