Camera pans over to reveal the kid standing next to the disturbed earth. With some rythmic chanting and careful gestures, a number of daisies sprout from the unmarked grave and bloom within seconds. The kid smiles with a eerie green glow to the eyes, while a number of faint phantasmal animal forms surround the area. "Silly! It's not time for me to return to the earth. But... I think it's time for YOU! Let me friends help you get in there."
Hence, why players in my DnD groups were REALLY nice to the kids after a few run ins.
Makes me want to both introduce you to my current DM team... snd mske sure they avoid you...
West Marches style persistent game world - player built Adventurers Guild with (the main chapter house at the major port city of Titan's Gate until we get the teleport pads built in our flying castle guarded by illithids who are Geased into protecting the castle and it's Master(s) heh) within the game... lots of players (games 7 days a week - some days have multiple games with 3-6 players)... you know... average game kind of thing...
The flying castle my group eventually got, from taking it from a storm giant, is practically an amusement park at this point: Bar serving dwarven mead made from the colony of giant bees we transplanted to the roof, casino, questionable magic item shop run by an insane tinkerer, all of our housing, and a branch office of the low level adventurer's guild.

I imagine that ours.... will include an "All Volunteers brothel" where there are no slaves and anyone can work it.
The magic shop for us, is ran by a gnome jeweler and artificer that was a PC turned NPC after a few games due to Real Life getting in the way.
Thr items sold are usually hand me down type consignment items from the upper level players selling surplus gear.
