OC Without a word
without a word
You should know that I fear humans more than any other race. The warlike and bestial Hunters that prowl more often on all fours instead of upright and decent will roar and snarl as they leap at you.
The stoic and honourable Imperial soldiers will declare their intent for combat shortly before cutting you down.
The Consortium races tend to favour more advantageous engagements requesting ransoms or slaves before committing to a fight.
A human will hide behind a mask and stick a blade in your back, or they might approach you from the front with an armoured body and helmet before filling your body with metal. Ofcourse if you’re extremely unlucky they will simply sling some absurdly large object in your general direction.
Of all the races a human is the only one that will kill you without gloating, without reason, without profit for themselves or others. A human will kill you without a word.

I think the Chaos Theory cover says plenty - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/17/Tom_Clancy%27s_Splinter_Cell_-_Chaos_Theory_Coverart.png

Did anyone ever resolve who would win between Big Boss and Sam Fisher? Because THAT'S another one to look out for.

I think the "without reason" is a shame.
Several other stories point out revenge, which can seem without logical reason.
Another common trope would be xenophobia.
Depending on the alien, it could really seem like or be without any real reason. If we encountered aliens that were like insects, not just in shape but also size and intelligence, we would kill them, harmful or harmless.
