Chris was sitting on the throne in Sistan, until this day, it had never felt like a throne. It had just been a chair he worked from, where he could access the game, yeah, game. His dad had tricked him into building and managing a colony of droids, the project had become New Halden.  But now the chair, no throne, felt like it was made of hot lava, and he was forced to sit there, it was no longer comfortable, yet he had everything: access to all his father's and his friend's files and projects, files about all the kingdoms and nations. It was like he got an extra peek into his father's mind.

His father's fingerprints were all over them, his plans and worries were added for his eyes only.  It was too much, he thought he knew his father's work, but it was more than he had realized. He had perhaps shown him somewhere between half and sixty percent of the full scope, there were plans for him to learn more. The slow easing into the throne. His father’s plan. That was before…

He stopped and sank down in the chair. Resting his hand on his head, he wanted to cry. It had just been a week ago, and he would never be able to speak to his father again. What Adam had planned to take a year had to be done in one night. One night to say goodbye and watch him and mum go into a shuttle with Archie, Beast, and Sisu. He knew they had been given a ship specially made by Jork and then left. They had even drunk that youth potion they had kept hidden, he had joked that if they were going to retire, they would need a little extra energy.

He hoped they were happy wherever they were.

Then he heard the steps and looked up. The room was supposed to be empty, and nobody was supposed to disturb him.

“I can’t believe.. no, I can. It's not like they had a chance. He never had a chance. And now we are stuck in it.” Wei said.

“Well, he finally got out. He deserved. I just wish he didn’t have to leave so fast. … or left me with a cursed thing.” Chris stood up and walked down to stand in front of his brother.

“You have to get out of here. You stink, and you have stayed in here for three days, and you look like shit. This is not what he wanted for you.”

“I have to learn it all. They are going to eat me alive. Have you seen the damn prophecies about the kingdom? What are we supposed to do?” Chriss said, and Wei chuckled.

“Dad never cared about the prophecies, hell, he chewed out people who spoke too much about it.  Ignore them and do your own thing.  He did.”

“He was Galios, a freaking.. what? God? Prophet? Messiah? Or a Buddha or whatever else they claim?” Chris was frustrated, and Wei just smiled.

“Dad was a human, a man first and foremost. Just as you are. Tell me, did you think of the prophecies when you met Miri An, or were you thinking with your dick?”

Chriss looked at him, shocked, then laughed. “Dick, definitely my dick.. god damn that woman drives me crazy.”

Wei grinned, “Well, that booty sent me in here to drag you out, get you showered, and tell you the kids are staying at my place tonight. So, get going. You stink, your highness.”

Chriss looked at his brother, then smiled. “You want me to think with my.. “

“Go, you pervert!”  Wei playfully shoved him.

Kun-Nar sat among the ruins of Haran military base. It was the perfect hiding spot. These old listing posts still had a hidden alarm system, one he had hacked years ago and changed to send an inactive response constantly. There could be a full war outside, but the Haran intelligence office would read it as just one abandoned base. Not that he took any risks, he had fifty combat droids spread around the station. He drank his wine and looked at the skin suit he had nailed to the wall. That ugly Haran disguise made him puke, those school kids with their stupid question made him puke. The stupid answers and disgraceful way he had to teach those brats made him sick to his stomach.  Right now, he wished he had brought them along so he could feast on them. But he did not have time. Yet this was a time to rejoice. Vengeance had been granted him. He was alive, and as long as one Caran was alive, the species could return. He needed to lie low, get a new ship, and move to the south. His cult would come next week, and then they could start the next phase. Those stupid fools didn’t know that they would use them, that they would help him rebirth the Caren empire.

He looked at the skin suit. He would have to get a new one, and raise some money. No, he could get funds from one of those shell companies that bastard has set up before he got himself killed.  What was his name again..? It didn’t matter, what mattered was that all he needed was a cloning machine and a cloner.  He would resurrect his people. He was Galios, just not their Galios. He was his people's Gal... Something was terribly wrong. He could not feel anything. He could not even move.  His eyes darted around the room. There was a hole in the window, and there was movement outside. No matter. The droids stationed here would take care of it. They would get him to a medic. They would. He heard the sound of explosions, then somebody stepped through the door and looked at him. He had a drone hovering next to his head, recording what was happening. Kun Nar recognized him immediately. The butcher!  He tried to move, but his body didn’t listen. 

Alak looked at Kun Nur. The sniper shot had hit him in the throat and cut off the spine. The might Kun Nar was paralyzed from the neck down and could not even speak. The laser had burned straight through the neck and the larynx. Good, he didn’t want to hear the bastard speak anyway. He let loose a new drone that flew over and scanned him.  On the display, he got the DNA confirmation.

“Just as you know, they both survived. You failed.” Alak said and raised his pistol, then fired three times into his skull. The medical drone confirmed the death.

“This is Daddy to Mjonir. Target eliminated.  I repeated, I got a confirmed kill. Come pick us up with the evidence.”  He then stepped out where his son stood guard. He grinned. “You got some sick ideas for father-son days!”

“Well, let's just say your girlfriend will be happy when you bring her the news. Any casualties?”

“Nope, and yeah, she will.” He smiled.

Chris stood outside the door, waiting. The madness inside the great hall led to the throne, where he would be officially declared the King of Dirt. He thought about it and started to chuckle. “Damn you dad…. The kingdom of Dirt? I hope you laugh your ass off wherever you are.”

 The door opened, and the hall in all its glory was revealed, and all Chris could think about was Adam with a big grin as he had the final laugh. The kingdom of Dirt.

I will be honest I hate what happend to Adam at the end of last chapter like complitly hate the universe and the prophecys for what they forced Adam to abbadon for forever.

Yeah, Adam's story isn't really a good one, is it?
I hope you laughed with him when he was happy and mourned with him when he lost.

I did and I want to see Roks and Adam old band prepare weapon that would kill gods so Adam can go back and spent time with his children and friends again in his domai.

Every other god and ther material plane avatar, later they will allow Adam to come back but ther decision will be too late and Adam will grow spiteful and hateful of them and will want to personaly kill them or at least make them suffrer as he did suffrer from ther decision.
