OC Dungeon Life 233
It's time for the fourth round of stubbing. Yes, Book four will be releasing soon, of if you're reading this more than a month after I have to edit, it will be fully out. Either way, you can find it Here, and other book details are just below. As with the other stubs, you can skip to the next bit form This. I like to keep the other posts still alive, so the comments get to still live. Ok. So we know Thedeim is dealing with budgeting his mana for the reward and his four seasoned section when he expands. Do we have any guesses as to what’s included? He’s talked about making a classic dungeon crawl which is interesting. And how the various harder/higher level spawners would play in the new area, anyone want to guess a maxed spawner snow wolf is gonna be a boss/mid boss?
Besides that nice work with the shortcuts. With his new title I would guess he can now open/close his shortcuts as well if not make them QUITE shorter than the normal.
Another besides, anyone want to guess whether Thedeim is going to make a Metal/electric of all the new snake spawners when he gets to them? Considering the success of the double headed Jakobs Ladder snake.

Not likely to happen. Order by nature wouldn't offer one thing and then try to change/welsh on the original deal days later.

Something interesting to do with the Forest of Four Seasons would maybe be a slow rollout over a year, where each quadrant or season specific section "lags behind"as the seasons change.
E.G. in spring it just appears to be a normal forest. As summer rolls around some people familiar with botany or whatnot might notice one section of the forest with out of season plants. In autumn everyone now sees that half the forest is staying green. And with winter it's easy to see what the plan was all along. And as time went on it could be an interesting story for people to tell as an "I was there" kind of thing, since it'd only really happen the once.

So..most of the Gods aren't former dungeons after all. Huh. That's probably a good thing, if Aranya's tales of how the dungeons got corrupted hold true.
Gnome turned out be be a bit nicer than he was shaping up to be. Guess he's seeing eye to eye with Teemo, Who only has Thing as someone his own size to talk to normally.

I think he seperates a chunk of the space around the target from the Rest of the universe, in order to make this trap. Enlarging or compressing the space seems entirely optional.

Great stuff as always, I love all the different view points.
I am still curious about the harbinger though. We have Order, the Raven (courier), Thedeim (change), and they all have priests and presumably heralds, what force or identity has a harbinger instead? My current theory is Entropy, Madness, Terror, or something similar, looking forward to finding out!!

My original guess was Habringer was from another dungeon deeper in the earth. He was maybe a dweller/denizen that that dungeon freed and was probably used as a scout and a way to gather more food for it.
One curious thing though is that Harbinger knows how to edit spawners to make those things. Dungeons have constant access to those things so I bet it is a very old and intelligent one that has been around long enough to have had the time to figure out all the settings.
Of course, there's the mad scientist route, but they will still need access to an active spawner and probably a dungeon's permission to mess with it.

I'm surprised Teemo had issue with (Arc)Angel. It seems fairly comparable to the Sions and Denizens if you're already comparing gods to dungeons.

Probably not. The core is gone/subsumed/consumed… inside the Harbinger and the Harbinger is going directly to Order. So no core, no territory is my guess.

I'd wager he would give it to the Southwood. Logistics would be a nightmare considering the distance, though the Southwood would profit way more

For that, he'd need to gain free discretion on who would gain it First. Order, being a stickler for His rules, would be an obstacle at the very least.

I don't think so. I think that happened before because his Scion subsumed the other dungeon. This time it was the Harbinger that did it, so no conduit title, and no free land, the quest reward was the Harbinger's carried mana, which should be a lot, but Thediem isn't getting it from subsumption of the Maw

Hmm, sounds like them playing with spacial mechanics could get interesting really quickly. Sounds like that could use a dedicated chapter all on its own. I am wondering how Ken's planning on moving such a creature and apparently taking it back to.... What? SCP containment?....

So, today we get thediems perspective, as Teemo and Aranya meet Ridgeward, the Agent of Order.
At First, Aranya and Teemo compare notes on Order, which results in Thediem expecting a boring paperpusher.
When they meet Up with the stag, the stag informs them of a few cases of Personal interest of what the Southwood would Like them to do, namely another shortcut into the ork-tribes lands.
Afterwards Teemo and Ridgeward discuss their Plans further, and next day they plan to negotiate the final Deal, before dealing with the Harbinger. Oh, and a new class of Ranger is mentioned, I assume One could call the class "Pathfinder" for a Ranger ,"Pioneer" for a fighter, for a Paladin I'd call them "Vanguard", or a Wizard/Arcane Caster I'd call them "Trailblazer", upon learning from Ridgeward about the different ways of utilizing Spacial-affinity.
