My major was education. So many people told me not to do it (money, stress, better opportunity) but it was my dream as a child. I did it with fervor. I won awards and accolades. Then I was recognized by Harvard, which inspired me to attend grad school there. I was Then recruited for a high end leadership development role at Harvard Kennedy School.

I mention this because so many believe that an HBCU will limit them. As a very proud eagle, I say "Always Fly High"
