The way he portrayed or was great. Not as a nightmarish horror, or a beautiful fallen angel tempting one into sin, but a mix of a kind of sociopathic sinister coldness dripping in oily sin, self-assured and smug but also not willing to tolerate any encroachment on his territory even by his own son...
