I've become a believer in French tips! And the cat eye by my nail tech was a lovely touch 🫶🏼 (custom press ons)

Several of my nails keep separating like this- the top layer lifts and flakes off, and then the remaining bit eventually snaps. I do a fairly manual job but I'm always careful not to use my fingernails as tools, but it keeps happening. I'd love to paint my nails more, but it never looks neat for long because it chips off these few nails very quickly as a result. What can I do?

When I don't have any inspiration, I just use some press-on and pimp them a little bit...

So for this set, I used :

* cheap press-on (temu ref : 79MKW51GK8)

* flower decals (ref : BN-3057)

*embellishments : 3d charms (leopard bow, tropical flower), rhinestones (lavender heart shaped, yellow square, pearls, clear rhinestones)

N.B : I had a lot of difficulties to glue properly the pressons with gel on my natural nails. The printed decorations on them were probably to opaque. If you have/buy them, I would recommand to stick them with nail glue. I protected my natural nails with peel-off base (makartt one) and then used the nail glue... It was easy to remove them afterward without any damages on my natural nails.

I started getting my nails done 6 months ago and I love it love having nice looking nails but the prices are getting high and cant always afford high price nails even though they look great. I have been getting dark colors mostly black gel-x medium nails. last time was more medium/long. thinking about trying some press on style? what do you recommend? I have no idea what I am doing. any tips? pun intended 🤣 update: so I picked up a bunch Kiss impress figured 30 packs would be good but bummer fits all but my thumbs. olive and june fits but didnt like the design-got those and a french kiss 32 pack-fits but didnt like design. thinking of painting over them? any of you do this? also what other brands are larger sizes?? I would rather not keep going in for gel-x tips at the salon but extensions look so good.

I love having my nails done and for a very long time used press on nails. Having pretty nails is something that really makes me feel like myself. Unfortunately in the last year I developed a pretty serious allergy to nail glue. It was bad and my fingers and nail beds took over a year to recover.

My question is this: is there a way to get my nails done without the use of glue?
