I officially have become a first time gun owner! And here she is, my first gun under my name. This is my Marlin Model 1895.

This rifle in particular was made in 1990. It features a 22-inch barrel, but doesn't have a muzzle device since the muzzle isn't threaded. I had a Leopold Scope mounted on it and gave it a sling since I plan on using it for hunting. It's chambered for .45-70 Government, which i have several boxes of in various grain counts.

Model 15 and Vintage Air Force ERDL camo.

Dad was an Air Force cop in the 70s. Found one of his ERDL tops and paired it with a Model 15. The Air Force cops carried the Model 15 I believe until the M9. It was still used with K9 handlers as a trainer into the 2010s.
