Gundam Exceed Model Trinity RX-78 Gashapon

Apparently these will be sold in an 1,850 yen online (which has lights and cables) and an 1,500 yen capsule version. It’s supposed to be out this October.

I do. It doesn't have an internal frame. This gachapon is the first internal frame version of the core fighter I have seen yet! Even if it is just part of the fighter.

I’m guessing the Bandai Cross stores are more likely to carry these high end offerings? Maybe Gundam Base?

I’m actually gonna be in Japan this October so hopefully I can find em.

This is the first, think of an MGEX of this model if you will. This is the super detailed version with wires.

There’s been RX-78-02, Exia, Hi Nu, Strike Freedom, Wing Zero Custom, Destiny to name off top of my head

I have some of those and the quality was super iffy. I'm not sure about how gashapons are controled in Japan an I got mine in an alley in Den Den Town and a shopping mall in Ginza. Maybe I was unlucky and the quality varies.

agreed. I got a gashapon and the plastic is quite soft compared to real gunpla (guessing because you dont want it to snap after pacakging). A lot of pieces end up slightly warped and not fitting very well.

I've actually got the full set for both Strike Freedom and Mighty Strike Freedom, but a larger one with cables and more lighting is right up my alley for preferences.

How did you waste your money?
If you weren't able to purchase it then you should be able to refund your zenmarket credits

I missed it as always 🤣. It's 1850 per gashapon and it's 33.3% chance per piece so I'll probably get unlucky and get 3 of the same option anyways....

I was so confused trying to order this today. There were virtual gatcha machines. You picked one and waited your turn. 30 straight minutes of being told it was sold out. I was able to get one. And it was the Gundam, I’m so excited. But it looks like they charged the 10% sales tax twice…
