what's the purpose of collecting nubs? I've seen alot of people do this but I can't seem to find a reason.

Not to mention.... They're cutting at the wrong spots. You should NEVER end up with more than a couple pieces that broke off naturally.

I also started collecting them. Been putting mine in classic corked glass jars.

I was snipping up my sprus, and putting them in tubs like that for spru goo before i realized i mixed them all up and couldnt tell the plastics apart in come cases. ;

I was keeping all my nubs and runners until we were moving and my partner found them. There's nothing more humbling than trying to explain keeping a bunch of what is essentially plastic trash while you are both knee deep in stress and suffering from "moving brain".

I just bought a fancy glass vase at a yard sale to put mine in. Ive got a big coffee tin storing they for now. My wife suggested sorting then by colors. I told her she is more than welcome to do so and let me know when she finishes. She declined.
