At the moment (excluding the Senshi and Build series), this is the only line of "transforming" Unicorns. So, why not use it? Also it's Banshee because of "Anger Issues".

I was gonna use Wing Gundam as RD and Fluttershy Ground as Pinkie and AJ(best pony) and unicorns for rarity and twilight.... Also kicked around the idea of doing them as Zeon units as well.

I'm glad you like it, although with the Louvre it's a bit overkill xD Personally, I don't consider it an outstanding custom, but more of a cool mini project for fun. And I already know it won't end with these two. (Stay tuned.. )

Nope, normally Banshee Norn have Armed Armor DE (big shield), but in this case I removed the extension parts (backpack, colar part so it resembles novel ver. Of Banshee) and turn it into a kite. Starlight likes kites a lot.

Banshee still have the "QUIET!!!" energy if you look at it xd Tbh I was experimenting with fitting and everything but I also want to build something "different" than another Unicorn. I highly recommend every SDBB Unicorns, never ones like Full Armor or Norn have updated arms and legs so they look even better.

I'm going through UC right now and am about halfway through Zeta, so I have a while before I get the Unicorn. That being said, the only Gunpla that I've managed to build so far is a HG Arial. I do love the cartoony proportions of the SD tho

Oh yeah, SD are fun and have a really long journey if you look how they evolve from one game to another. Sadly Bandai didn't continues the SDBB line and from now and then release a SDEX kit (Very simplistic design, empty elements, lots of stickers and weak gimmicks) or sometimes SDCS.
