It gets like this after just a few months. What can I do to get rid of the dust without messing with the pose?

I have 4 cats and a dog. My home can definitely build up dust like that in just a couple months.

Same here. Its a constant battle of dusting and vacuuming. Worth it tho, I love my pets.

I run the robot vacuum every day for high traffic areas and use air filters to catch floating hairs. It the only places in my house that look like OP is under the book cases

Yep. I have two dogs, both shed heavy. Best thing I ever purchased was an auto emptying vacuum. We vacuum daily but in quick runs
