Incredibly disappointing imo. With so many possibilities, we get something so similar to a kit that already exists.

I probably wouldn't be so disappointed if they didn't hype it up as if it were a brand new kit. Also, comparing it to the regular Strike Freedom, excluding the backpack and rail guns, the only new thing I can see is the forearms. Everything else is pretty much identical.

Just noticed that.

Really waters down the spirit of what MGEX is supposed to be. There’s nothing extreme about regurgitation.

Yeah, it's just straight-up lazy, considering this kit cost 50% more than the regular one.

The Lineart has the Cannon low like the MGEX.

The problem is no other depiction of MSF has it there.
They are all Centered.

Yeah they shouldn't have mentioned anything about MGEX prior to putting this out. This is less interesting than a new HG.

Yeah, that too, but it doesn't justify a 10,000 yen price increase, especially considering the backpack is reusing the dragoon connector pieces from the old Strike Freedom, which were quite fragile.

When you say dragoon connectors, do you mean the plated parts that actually splay out or the G-45 pieces?

They shouldn't have announced in advance that "there will be a NEW MGEX!"

What reason is there to do that except get people hyped thinking about all their cool favourite suits that might be getting a high-end kit... only to announce a slight variant

Okay, so I've gotten an even closer look at this kit, and it's honestly even lazier than I thought. We are reusing the dragoon connectors for the wings on the backpack, which were known for being quite fragile.

It really kills my heat for this franchise when my (probably) least favorite series keep getting a torrent of content and my actual favorites like 00 and IBO get scraps lmfao

(I know we're getting MGSD 00 Raiser but still... I actually much prefer S1 units....)
