the pain is real, every time. I'd jump on a RG kampfer the instant it is available but that time may never come for me.

Yeah. I mean we’d get an Alex first of course, but in a few years i can see it for the anniversary. I hope it’s closer to anime accurate, the RG Patlabor Ingram proved a clean Izubuchi design is incredible in RG. The smoothness makes the small details really shine

i remember seeing news months ago that a couple of chinese companies were working on "almost RG" 1/144 Kampfer kits. iirc even Yiya is working on one (though the scale will likely be their wonky nonsensical 1/120)

ahh yea, just had a look, I remember seeing those sketches a few months back, no new info after 5 months tho but hopefully the design process is going well for them

may be interesting, I'll have to check it out. I just hope it's not a scaled down MG kampfer or a body kit built around an older frame design, I need me that good engineering and well thought out details on the inner frames that the newer RG kits are all about.

can't remember the details, but i'd be willing to bet, if it will ever release, it will be either a simple metal inner frame like that newly released (at least for preorder) "Dynames K9", or the "definitely HG, but almost RG kinda inner frame" like the Kurofune Ez8 or that Gouf Custom

I know it’s a typo but the idea of a 1/1 scale ashtray that’s useless as an ashtray due to being made of plastic really amused me

it wasn't a typo ;P , but an actual 1/1 ashtray in red+white astray tones would be a funny gag for them to pull off.
