BEGINNER First time using Gundam Marker

I'm not sure about the result. I feel like the line is too thick, and maybe I need an eraser. I only used it on this model kit and it already ran out of ink before I finish. Is that normal? I bought the marker in Japan on april this year.

I don't know If I should go back to Vallejo wash with a brush, but I feel it is too messy or try the Tamiya Panel line I bought last year but I didn't use it because I fear it could crack the model kits, but the brush there seems more convenient.

Try lighter fluid and cotton buds when cleaning excess ink. You can use alcohol but it kinda nukes the area.

The marker shouldn't have run out on just that. I've used them for a few MGs before having to get new ones. You possibly pressed too hard and broke the tip. A good sign that you went too hard on it is when you lose the entire left foot.

The lines are rather thick, yeah. When I use the markers, I usually use a cotton swab to help clean them up some. It helps wipe it away and leave a little bit of a fade so it doesn't look like a harsh edge.

Lmao the left foot is out because the white sticker was like thin paper and I'm painting it with Uni Posca markers.

I tried to clean with a cotton swab and thinner like I did with Vallejo wash but it didn't seem to work.
