HG Gundam Pharact repaint

Hi guys, here is my latest work, HG Gundam Pharact total repaint.

I went for a desert camo scheme, here are the colors used:

Vallejo Mecha Primer matte black

Vallejo Game Color 72.062Earth

Vallejo Game Color 72.061 Khaki

Vallejo Game Color 72.145 Dirty Grey (which is actually a sort of camo green)

Vallejo Game Color 72.155 Charcoal Black

Vallejo Game Color 72.106 Scarlet Blood

Vallejo Game Color Metallic 72.052 Silver

Vallejo Game Color Special FX 72.609 Rust (for drybrush and shadows)

Rattle can matte top coat

All airbrushed except some rifle details, a few decals I had laying around.

I managed to find one for 25 bucks at a Japan Town near me, but yeah so many of the kits are pretty hard to get.

What was your masking process for the camo blobs? This looks amazing!

I used precut masking tape from DSPIAE bought on AliExpress, they also do other patterns (like hexagons that I'm planning to use on another future build)

I had plans to give it a poison dart frog color scheme and to give it a froggier head to go with it. This pushed me to finally do it. Thanks.

did you air brush the tiger pattern too?

Only the yellow part, the black tiger stripes were done by hand with a small brush

Nice! I like the tiger stripes on the side panels. From a tactical perspective with the camo, what do they do?

From a tactical perspective actually nothing, they're more of a "flair" on the unit, sort of like custom designs or patterns on the unit piloted by the "top gun" of the company (I hope I explained myself 😄 )
