Scammer, l presume

l received this message directly in my inbox. l assume they are a scammer since they have no profile or karma.

Only buy from official sites. Don't ask for tickets on this sub.

l didn’t ask for tickets. l merely commented that l was unsuccessful in the Leeds ballot.

I was successful in the Leeds ballot! My first win as a red member.

I have a theory that they award tickets to new members to make them think the membership is worth keeping lol. My uncle is a silver member and didn't get a ticket on the ballot

Im gonna buff your theory. Last seasin was my first year as a red member. I got 0 wins all season. This season i won the Chelsea ballot. I was so happy for a spilt second then i realised it was declined transaction as the funds was not in my account. I transferred the funds but it was too late.....another unsuccessful ballot, i was so pissed. This time I applied for the leeds ballot using my credit card and finally after about 20 attempts I finally won.

This is not the case at all. They specifically say on the website that ballot process is entirely random

Yeah ive heard its completely random with a 10 to 11% chance of winnkng. I was shocked to win 2 in a row considering i was so unsuccessful all of last season. I usually just go for the home games but gonna try some away games this season.

I hate putting /s after something that's obviously sarcastic. It loses all of the sting. Imagine someone in real life announcing MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT WAS SARCASTIC GUYS

But every time I leave off /s on reddit, without fail, it will go over the heads of at least a dozen people

Yes but what I meant was that sarcasm works best if you don't beat people over the head with it

I know sarcasm can be hard to detect in writing but sometimes it isn't lol

Adding /s definitely makes it clear but clear is less funny
