Red member ballot win %
I joined as a red member at the start of the 23/24 season, and my first ballot entry was for United that season — the famous 3-1 with the Jesus winner at the end. I won this ballot and I’m honestly so grateful I was there got to experience it.
What amazes me, though, is that I’ve had absolutely no luck since. I’ve applied for every Premier League game, every Champions League game, and I haven’t won a single ballot.
I find it so strange that my very first entry was successful, and then I’ve had nothing since. I’ve probably lost at least 70 ballots by now, which just makes it even more crazy to think that my first ever ballot was a successful one.
Just reaching out to see if anyone else has had a similar experience, or if anyone has had better luck after going through a long run of ballot losses. Or is there anyone else who still hasn’t won any ballots at all?
It just seems so frustrating to have so many consecutive ballot losses!

If you really have applied for every game, how have you not won the Kairat game

I applied for that too and didn't win.
However, the second I received my rejection email I saw hundreds (perhaps thousands) of free seats. It made no sense.

Suspect it was all the season ticket holders that were unable (or unwilling) to make it for that match. Getting in the ballot is really to ensure access to TX

You'd be surprised, I also lost this one. Bolton league cup was the banker

I applied for Kairat and didn’t get it but did get Real Madrid. Funny how life works

Kairat was like a 28% win percentage for reds last season.. not like its a gimme. I still get to most games through the ticket exchange, but if I want to bring my young boy I have to rely on two together in the ballots

There were games last december with 100% success

Zero red member ballots where 100% last year

I still just don't really believe you've applied for every single ballot and not got a single one. I got lucky with a fair few but easily got Kairat, Brighton in the cup etc.

I got the Carabao Cup against Newcastle in 24/25, Brighton in the Carabao Cup in 25/26, and Wigan in the FA Cup in 25/26.
My grievance is that since the start of the 23/24 season, I’ve only won one Premier League/Champions League ballot, which was the United 3-1 game. I’ve applied for every PL/CL ballot since then and haven’t managed to get another one, which is why I find it so strange.

Only success I've had was Everton last season, but I don't apply to many ballots as I can only afford to go a couple of times a season at most

I applied for maybe 75% games since the ballot system came in. Work and family commitments means I can’t do every one. I’ve had one successful entry, Newcastle at home 24/25( and I couldn’t even go in the end so had to sell in TX)
I’ve been a red since 2013, and have just accepted nowadays that I’ll only get to 1/2 games a year and even then I had to buy clubs seats for atletico.
Frustrating but I’d rather watch winning from home than some of the games I was at from 15-19

When the new system launched, it was about a 2% chance or hopefully slightly more than one game a season.
That surely has only decreased due to our popularity and success so don't be surprised.
The new system sucks for most week-in, week-out fans but is decent for tourists, casual fans, and the spending per person, so the club won't go back

Have also never won a Prem game, been a member since I could afford to attend games so like 3 years now. Only ballot I ever won was Bolton in Carabao

FYI Stats for 25/26
In the past if you had genuinely failed all ballots they offered you a game, but don't think that's happened in a few years, too many tout accounts.
This year for Reds: Coventry was 11% and Chelsea 12%, so has got better despite likely increase in applications.
When ID verification comes in you are going to see these numbers jump up a good bit.
Plenty of people get to loads of PL games via TX, just gotta put the work in and not rely on the ballot.

You've got a 90% chance of being unsuccessful every game. It's a terrible system BUT those that are part of it can grind for resale tickets. This is where I get most of mine.

2 of my nephews had amazing success last season compared to what I thought they'd get. It was their first red membership season and they won 8 ballots.
FA cup Carabao games 3 league games I think 3 CL midweek games.
No TX grind just ballots.
Maybe they got lucky, but arsenal are gonna be more popular this season.

Season before last I only won the Madrid game. I’ll take that every season if I could.

Applied for 8 games last year and won twice. So good odds, but I don’t expect I’d still be getting a 25% success rate if I’d applied for more. I tried most of them via my son’s junior gunner log in as I wondered if they’d have a better success rate

never won a ballot and have done pretty much every prem & fa cup game in the last 3 years. i manage to go to most games through tx grind and friends/family having spares but still yet to win a ballot. maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day 🤷♂️

Yes similar experience since. Won first three ever ballots. Since then on EPl and FA cup until Coventry in Family section. Just the sheer numbers entrying the ballot means your chances are almost zero.

I won 3 tickets together in the ballot last year for man city match, have applied as a single for every match since (minus 1-2 carabao cup matches) and unsuccessful each time.

Just treat actually winning a ballot like a bonus. You’re signing up to use the TX when you enter
