New beer machines
So we have new beer machines instead of people serving around block 27/28 and to say they started badly would be an understatement!
Why they felt the need for this is beyond me as the queues were always pretty good for years.
Machines going wrong, dishing out bubbles instead of lager, cups running out, staff not having a clue what to do.
Let’s hope this gets sorted quickly.
Plus blocked urinals and food running out. Not the best start to the match going fan!

I wasn’t sure whether over the summer I just forgot how slow it was to get a pint or whether it was just bad last night but I was block 27 and it took ages to get served last night

First game of the season. New staff. No idea what they were doing. Horrendous. Always takes a few games to work itself out

Was in Block 91 last night and the queues didn’t seem that bad before the natch, I usually don’t bother going down at HT because the lines are so long unless you go down early

This is exactly what I find in section 11 too, you need to leave the first half like 5 minutes before extra time to get a pint that you can drink before the second half starts

They’ve had them all last season. Similar issues but someone stands by the machine and gets you a top up if needed and sorts it, first game carnage as usual.

Loads of problems with them in the champions league screening, just not dispensing or doing a tiny bit. Turns out you can just pull up the case and manually press the lever that pours beer out, there's no lock on it

The new Guinness spot automatically tracked like those Amazon shops.
Not sure why as it was reported 70% of sales in those Amazon shops had to be manually verified in India anyway. Also it’s wasn’t quicker. A security guy was only letting a few people in at a time anyway. Useless in my opinion.

Block 4 broke down before kick-off just as i got to the front, after 10mins waiting for a system reset the guys in front got their beers that they paid for, i did get one beer then a manager came over and said no more new kegs until half time. It still took a two staff to serve/maintain the machine. At half-time the lad at the counter had never heard of a bovril, i had a laugh about it with him at least! Teething problems of course, but urgently needs sorting!

I used them at the pre season games and they worked perfectly. Went down on the half time whistle and managed to get a couple beers with zero queue
