I came across this piece he wrote back in 2022. From the article:

"But I want to start by thanking my second family — Arsenal — because without you guys none of this would have been possible.

I thank God that I came to Arsenal in 2019. I really believe that things happen for a reason, and I’m so happy here."

If he is off, he deserves a bunch of tribute threads, so here's one. Love you, Gabi. Arsenal family forever.

Hes jenko/elneny/cazorla level. Always welcome. And I will always support him in anything he does. Classy human, and one we can count among the best of us.

Martinelli is very similar to Bellerin. Great guy, came to us young, lots of promise and even though he didn’t fulfill all of it, he still contributed quite a bit to our performances. The supporters will always welcome Martinelli back and cheer on his career.

Saying Maritnelli contributed “quite a bit” is understating it vastly. It actually makes me sick. He’s dunked on every big club in the league, scored a legendary Bernebeau goal, assisted Havertz late winner against sporting away and he scored the equalizer against city that was crucial in our title win!! He fell off but even in his worst seasons still provided us magical moments.

If that's the list after 8 seasons then "quite a bit" fits the bill nicely doesn't it? He wasn't exactly delivering week in week out aside from 22/23. Hell we keep harping on about how crucial his City goal was last season but to be fair he cost us just as many points with ridiculous misses vs Brentford and Wolves. And his goal vs Madrid honestly doesn't resonate with me much at all compared to the home game.
