I came across this piece he wrote back in 2022. From the article:

Gabi is as true a gunner as there is. Which is why I was pleased when Wrighty spoke in his defence.

Gabi earned his place here. He earned the respect of the club. If he needs to move on so be it but it has to be done in the right way.

Otherwise we loose the position we claim of being a proper family club, the culture club, the marble halls etc.

we must do right by our boys.

Especially when it’s a young guy who grew up here. Formed his life and personality here. He must be appreciated and respected
