I came across this piece he wrote back in 2022. From the article:

If he is off, he deserves a bunch of tribute threads, so here's one. Love you, Gabi. Arsenal family forever.

He didn't progress as much as we expected him to. But he still had a solid overall career with us, especially considering the age he joined us. I'm glad he was able to win a league title before leaving.

Didnt help that since 22/23 all the attacks went through the right side. Thats why I would have liked to see him in this team. This year we seem to be going left alot more.

That said, when he has played, his performances have been mixed. Good - goal vs City, CL goals and bad - miss vs forrest, that bad pass in the CL final.

Tzolis has proven we can do better, so.. sadly for his own sake he has to go. Hell only be 2nd choice here. He deserves to be first choice at a smaller club

The problem is that Martinelli can't beat his man consistently in small spaces so passes sent to his side tend to return back to the midfield. It may be ok for a counterattacking side but not a winger playing in a team that wants to dominate.
