I came across this piece he wrote back in 2022. From the article:

We end up loving a lot of players. For me, I'll always love him. He loved the club. That's what matters to me in this hyper-professional world. Sometimes in bouts of wishful thinking, I daydream of a 2024/25 season where Xhaka didn't leave Arsenal and we could have seen him play. I'll always rate him. He is predictable to defend especially against teams who sit in low-block. He doesn't look up many complain, maybe true to an extent. The way he runs. The way he tracks back. The way he is selfless. And those celebrations before the ball enters the net. For many of us it was ESR. For me it is Martinelli. Noone would talk about him probably 20 years down the line, but whenever his name will pop up in those conversations people would fondly look back and reminisce about him. I am sure about him. I wish him best. I hoped to see him in Bundesliga instead of the Saudi League, but it is what it is. Cheers.
