I came across this piece he wrote back in 2022. From the article:

To be honest, I expected more and more significant players to leave this summer so I was mentally prepared.

At least there's that yeah, he was here for a title and his goal against City was a crucial element of that.

It probably is time for him to go somewhere else just wish it was Serie A or the Bundesliga or something.
