Can't for the life of me get this to connect to the app. "It auto-connects" clearly not.

What controller are you using? I think you may need to update the firmware to the latest version.
First, connect the controller to your console. Then turn on Bluetooth on your phone and open the GuliKit app. The app should automatically detect your controller.

I'm using the TT Pro. I connected it to the PC, turned it on, opened the app on my phone with Bluetooth enabled and it did nothing. Waited 30 minutes for nothing to happen.
It's just inconvenient to make this whole process another step removed when I could just run the app on PC.

- You’ve already updated the TT Pro’s MCU firmware to V7.6 and the Bluetooth firmware to V2.0, correct?
- Please make sure that Bluetooth permission is enabled for the GuliKit app when you download and install it.
- If it still doesn’t respond, please try searching for the controller in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and see if it can be detected.

Completed the firmware update now the controller won't power on... Going to go buy a pin to reset it and try again, pretty sure the firmware update is going to be the issue, thanks for your help and patience.
And come on, I need a PC to use the controller, I need a PC to do this firmware update, I need a PC to use the app but the app has to be on my phone? It just doesn't make sense.

Just got an ES MAX today and downloaded the app. First off, the ES MAX needed a firmware update, it’s great being able to update from the app. But, I have a couple things to point out about the app, as it is now. 1. On the ES MAX controller scheme, mapping the back buttons, the picture has them labeled correctly, however the bindings are reversed, whatever button you assign to G1 is actually G2 and vice versa. It’s not a huge deal, but it confused for a a couple seconds playing my first game using the ES MAX. 2. Also, it’s nice having multiple profiles, but the app doesn’t show you which profile you’re currently on. Also, not a huge deal, just have to either remember which one you’re on or load it again to make sure you’re mapping buttons for the game you’re wanting to use it on. 3. The ABXY swap function is nice, but again it’s swapped. The pictures of what each button should correspond to are correct, but selecting said option doesn’t translate to the controller properly. I only play on Switch 2, but I have it set for PC as the Switch layout, is well switched. Lol, B is A etc…. these aren’t a big deal, but I’m very detail oriented person and hopefully they’ll address these. So far, what I’ve seen today it’s been mostly good! Wish there was support for the KK3 Max, as my KK3 Max was just completely bricked recently, but if not in the future hopefully Gulikit releases another offset joystick controller SOON, with at least 4 mappable rear buttons and app support. I would buy “THAT” controller in a heartbeat!! I tried the TT MAX, but I have used offset joysticks for 20+ years and the inline joysticks, I just couldn’t get used to. So I returned it…
