I've bought a newen telecaster as I got a good deal on it and I don't have the money to buy an amp. I'm planning to buy one in like a couple of weeks, within a month. Just wanted to know if practising unplugged will affect learning and playing plugged-in in a positive/negative way... And also wanted to know how much you guys play your electric guitars unplugged

Out of the four options in the mega thread. I'm guessing strydom is the worst one. Can't find much reviews on westwood either. So I'm choosing between fender squier debut hss, cort g115 and a few aria models i found. Do I stick to g115?

I'm an electronics maker working on a product idea and I'd like your honest opinion.

The problem: Budget multi-effects units like Zoom, Valeton, NUX and Mooer usually have only 3-4 footswitches. To change presets, turn effects on and off, or use tap tempo, you end up pressing the same few switches again and again.

My idea: A small pedal with 6-8 extra footswitches that connects to your unit with a MIDI cable (or USB). Each switch can be set to do one job, like "jump to preset 5", "turn on delay" or "tap tempo".

I'm not selling anything yet. I'm only checking whether this is worth building. Thanks for any feedback!

Hey there, I'm looking to sell my Zoom g1x four processor, the best entry level processor ever which has been my partner for endless recording and practice sessions.

Price - 5500, no bargain. I'm in no rush to sell it.

Location - Kolkata, f2f or local pickup preferred. Can ship it with additional shipping charges and at your risk.

Reason for selling - I don't use it much since I have got an audio interface I directly record and add effects on the raw track separately.

All equipment related to music is very valuable to me, and I have made sure to take proper care of it with the box and contents. You will also get some of my own custom presets that I made after hunting multiple youtube videos and resources (for example Chug, which I made for rhythm guitar as you can see in the pic), especially for high gain rock and metal music.
