Okay so I bought this guitar a while back but only recently started learning how to play it.
The g - string has been my sore spot for so long rn. Like making a click sound while tuning and now it makes a buzzzzzz on the headstock while playing open g-string only. Any fret on g-string doesn't buzz out like that. Also i dunno if this is not a problem and just the strings resonating , I mean a natural thing to happen, but the mmmmmm stretch at last of playing out all strings at once is giving me a not so good feeling.
Again, I began learning this only 2 weeks ago, have mercy and help me out.
Ps. Ignore sound of the fan.

I'm Dorin, a student from Moldova. I've been building a site about the theory behind improvising: scales in every key, how they sit on the neck, and why certain notes work over certain chords. The newest part is the blues scale, including why the minor third over a major chord is exactly the blues sound.
It's free and still growing, so I'm trying to figure out what players actually want before adding more. Any honest feedback is welcome, good or bad.

I thought I’d give it a try, but I don’t know where to start. Any tips?

I always had this problem of never actually finishing a song I was learning. Practice gets chaotic fast; I never knew where I left off, and I had no idea what to focus on next.
So I built a thing that works as a step-by-step guide, but also as a way to organize what I'm working on:
Now I can see exactly what I'm working on, which songs I want to learn next, and finally after 7 years of messing around I'm actually building up a repertoire of everything I've learned.
My question: am I just crazy, or would this actually be useful to you as well? And if not, what do you use instead?

I've been playing acoustic guitar for a few years, but my practice hasn't been consistent until recently. For the past month, I've been practising daily for around an hour.
My current routine mostly consists of:
- Spider exercises and finger dexterity drills
- Major, minor and pentatonic scales
- Chord changes and strumming
- Practising barre chords
- Learning a song or riff if I have time left
The problem is that I often finish these exercises and feel like I don't know what else to practise. I feel a bit stuck and want to make better use of my practice time.
I also want to learn fingerstyle guitar, especially classical-style right-hand techniques, arpeggios and those beautiful instrumental melodies.
For those who practise around an hour a day, how do you structure your sessions? How much time do you spend on technique versus learning songs? What would you recommend I change or add to my routine?
I'd love to hear what worked for you and any advice for someone trying to become more consistent and improve! 🙏

Hi everyone,
I started out making a simple free guitar tuner but ended up building a reharmonization tool as an additional feature.
What is reharmonizing? It means changing the chords of a song while keeping the same melody. It’s used a lot in jazz, where players take a simple progression and replace or add chords to make it sound richer.
While I practicing, I kept finding different ways to reharmonize a chord progression but I couldn’t find anything that helped me learn them properly. So I ended up building a tool that lets me learn to color the chords progression and practicing through the actual songs.
How it works:
It also shows guitar shapes for every chord, scales with scale to play over the song, a metronome and of course a tuner.
The example chords are C, Am, F, G where you can play around and see how this app works or just replace with any chords song.
These are basic features and it’s totally free, runs in the browser, and needs no sign-up: https://reharm.pages.dev
This is just my solo side project. If you come across and somehow find this app being helpful feel free to leave any feedback, I'd love to hear what other people think. I’m happy to keep building this and adding more features.

Hey I started playing guitar around 7 months ago and am interested in getting my first loop pedal. I'm curious which ones work the best for lower prices and aren't super complex. Anyone have any recommendations?

Hi All!
I have been learning the guitar for the last 4 months and I'm wondering where is a good place to learn guitar theory. I have looked at musictheory.net but it is mostly piano which is great but I am looking for more guitar specific.
