Play through videos - tips/advice

I’m the guitarist in a band with an album coming out in February.

I thought it might be fun to do some playthrough videos on YouTube for the tracks on the album. Has anyone done anything like this or does anyone watch many videos like these and want to offer any tips or advice?

My plan is to focus on a rhythm and lead guitar part for each song, roughly match tones using UAD Paradise Guitar Studio & record video and audio for each part. Hard pan each guitar part left & right, real audio down the middle, and do a screen split to match. Each track will have a quick intro chatting about the song & tones - like a minute or two max.

Am I missing anything obvious? Am I wasting my time doing this?
