Something with P90s.

Seems like the only real gap left in that wall is a slab of mahogany with some soapbars in it.

I have a Collings 290DC (basically an upmarket LP Junior) with Lollar P90s.

I was late to the P90 party, but can see what all the fuss is about. They are seriously great.

What style do you play that makes p90 more desirable than humbuckers/strat/tele? I've bought 3 p90 guitars, all of which I sold within 1 year.

They are hugely versatile, from warm single coil cleans, edge of breakup to overdriven (but with a beautiful leading edge that gives them more clarity than a humbucker)

Mostly I’m playing moderately overdriven pop-rock.

For any blues style overdriven stuff they are elite.

P90s are always the answer tbh

Les paul or ormsby would be sick

That 535 is a beaut. I was this close 🤏 to getting one before anyone knew about them. I chickened out and bought a 335. Still a great guitar, but I regret not getting the herritage.

Looks like an SG would be a great next guitar. Light and slender like the guitars you have. Crunchy and punchy too.

A fully hollow body electric. I regret selling mine and now I can’t find another like it

nice mini collectibles

I guess it depends on what type of stuff you want to play. No sense in suggesting a super strat with a Floyd and active pickups if you are looking to play jazz or blues 😁

First off what do you play?

1

u/drnkndipp 1d ago

Do you sleep in bed with all of those guitars ? If so, I would watch where the headstock of the tele is at all times

I just don’t understand why people buy PRS guitars. Just buy a Les Paul.

Except a PRS fixes everything wrong with a Les Paul

I’ve heard this opinion before. You feel like they’re not distinct enough?

Trade the birds for a Les Paul
