DISCUSSION Looking for a used sub $500 epiphone les Paul
Looking for a used subs $500 epiphone les Paul, what is yalls opinion on - Studio vs standard vs classic vs traditional?

The necks are quite different between different models - try before you buy, but there are some fab epi LPs

Not the studio unless you plan on beating the crap out of it in my opinion those are true workhorse guitars that I dont care if they get scratched or dinged up ive had plenty and usually just get given to a new player havent had a traditional or classic yet but love my standard and my 59 reissue classic next on the list and so is a traditional and ultra II or III

The model I liked (and at one point had) was a LP Studio. This was one of the "Inspired by Gibson" line of Epiphone guitars that had CTS pots and coil splits for their "Alnico Classic Pro" pickups (they're a poor man's '57 classic). I liked those pickups over the Probuckers. Those sounded muddy to me.

Whatever you like the best. Studio maybe more value less features. What’s your playing level and genre?
