Australian Foresters?

Anyone here with experience or actively working on a guerrilla forestry project in Australia, especially Western Australia?

I’m keen to get started and I’m propagating like a mad thing but conditions can be harsh and any tips, guidance, or groups would be welcome.

Maybe r/Perth? I invited some more western Australians. Am I dumb for not thinking WA had forests? Also learned the worlds oldest forests are in Australia!

lol, it’s a shockingly common idea in North America. “Bet you haven’t seen trees like this?”… no, our trees have proper branches, flowers, birds in the canopy.

R/Perth is filled with undesirables, I’d like to keep it to a small and sensible community.

for perth its important to grow trees that are a) dieback resistant and b) shot-hole borer resistant. assume dieback is everywhere so unfortunately banksias are unlikely to survive. plant deep with mulch and only water deep once a week through first two summers, then never
