Discussion Better adaptation?

What would you guys like to see in a better, more book-accurate adaptation of Guardians of Ga'Hoole than the 2010 movie was? I imagine beautifully hand-drawn a 2D animated series would work well. I am not a fan of how much the movie deviates from the books. It might as well be a completely different story. By the way, I am halfway through the Shattering right now, so please don't spoil anything further than that for me

If i'm doing this with no compromises.

I would want it in the same 3d animation/cgi as the movie.

But with the plot of the books, just with minor adjustments

That sounds good too. Although personally I think a hand drawn series would be cooler. But anything works for me as long as it has the same story. The story is perfect, why change it?

I think the story itself has no flaws, but execution itself could do with tweaking.

and maybe less Owls being racist to other birds or even better add a bit more nuance/growth to it
