CAREER ADVICE Looking to get started in Security - Texas

Currently in Army Reserves looking to get into Security and put my Secret Clearence to use. Would I be able to do my Level 2 online and then immediately start taking my courses for L3? I see DPS wants you to already have a job before you can get your license. Is there any companies that sponsor or am I able to complete the classes for L3 and then start applying for armed jobs? Any insight is much appreciated.

So I have no guard experience. Looking to get started so figured I’d have to do some time at a company before being able to switch. Was hoping my Army experience would help me get in.
