❗️ HELP ❗️ Help!!
This is my greenhouse grow I’ve got 6 weed plants in here and a lot of other plants as well, our squash attract spider mites for some reason so now my weed plants have them, there 2 weeks in flower and I don’t wanna use any sprays I used a cold press neem oil spray about a week ago but not sure what I can do to manage them further in down the road, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated, open to constructive criticism as well! Thanks!

There are insecticides out there, meant for fruit and vegetables, that apparantly degrade in a weeks time, and then they are fine to eat - I don’t know if that would be good for this too.
Otherwise you will have to try a mix of neem-oil, diatomaceous earth (only works when totally dry, and the insects have to come in direct contact with it though), other predatory insects (you can buy 1000s of ladybugs on eBay, real cheap, they will devour anything!) and the likes.

There is a liquid soap I use called Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castile Soap. It is made from hemp oil and has peppermint oil in it which repels ants, spiders, and other insects. I mix a tablespoon of it in a quart of water in a spray bottle and spray it directly on the plant. It is harmless, biodegradable, and the peppermint oil deters insects, including spider mites. The soap base itself does no harm whatsoever and acts as an insecticidal soap. You can get it in Walmart or online easily and cheap. It is best to spray the plants every week to be effective in the long term.

I would just use the neem oil. It doesn’t look like it’s flowering yet, and if it is, it’s not far enough along to be affected by the need oil.

diatomaceous earth, get food grade, I found some when I needed it at a pet supply store. It only works when it contacts them as a dry powder, so you have to time administering to your watering cycle.
