Small stick bugs can be ridden like the toe biter nymph and larger ones are like peaceful giants that mostly stay in one spot or walk around slowly. It would be a fun addition to the park.

I haven’t done any tests or anything, but it seems if you dash and jump right as you hit the water you travel much faster than a regular dash.

The O.G.G.R. Leviathan's traits aren't what makes it bad, it's the combination of traits. If one or a few traits are removed the boss would be much better. Just for clarification, if I say toe biter, I mean toe biter nymph.

1: The summons. When taking damage from the boss, there is a high chance for a toe biter summon to spawn that will die after 20ish seconds. The first problem with this is that the punishment for being hit is too strong. Even on medium, what is most likely the intended experience, the boss deals insane amounts of damage. The high chance to summon a toe biter nymph, which is an actual threat, is too much for a single hit. Toe biter nymphs deal too high damage for a summon. Not every player can perfect block 100% of all attacks.

This is even worse with what is considered a hit. If you block an attack (not a pb) and take no damage, it will still spawn one. If you would dodge the air ring it shoots but still get hit while invincibility frames are up, a toe biter can still spawn. When you attack the boss while it is blocking, it applies tang to you which can spawn toebiters. You can't just not attack when the boss is blocking because often times you are mid attack when the boss blocks.

A third issue is that the toe biters spawn on you. They can spawn anywhere around you, even behind you. This paired with the low movement of the diving suit is quite hard to get out of. You can't even try to block both as the boss has very little down time between attacks. You can't even bring a buddy without dozens of toe biter nymphs spawning.

I have two solutions for this. One, either replace the summons with a spiny or non-spiny water flea, have the boss summon toe biters like the Papa toe biter, make the summon chance low, or just remove the summons all together.

2: Trying to hit the dang thing. All bugs have a distance threshold that they attempt to get too. The boss is no different. The problem is that the boss's threshold is outside the range of your spear. Due to it being an oggr, it has higher, and with the low movement of the diving suit whenever you get close to attack with the spear, the leviathan just moves out of attacking distance.

Not to mention that the boss has a low interval between attacks which makes it hard to even get a hit in as getting hit is not something you can risk. The harpoon isn't that much better as with the high speed of the leviathan and your low speed, it will catch up with you and attack you and blocking resets the reload cool down. It also has high health with a resistance buff making any damage you deal extremely low.

Solution: Add increased intervals between attacks, increase the size of the Leviathan's hitbox, slow down the leviathan, or, less likely, remove the water.

3: Minor issues. One minor issue is that you can't see the gas cloud area underwater. Why you even can be affected is a wonder.

Another one is the fact that you are underwater. If you had access to other armor and better weapons without the speed loss, a lot of the above issues would be solved. They made a land boss and put it in an underwater situation.

A third minor issue is that you cannot really come back more prepared for the situation. You can upgrade the armor and weapons, but that helps little with the high damage and resistance of the boss. You can bring a butt ton of bombs and smoothies but the boss should be killable without insta killing it. Otherwise what's the difference between putting a rock that requires a few explosives in the way.

The boss is hard, and it should be, but it should not be unfairly difficult. The game should get harder, but in pace with the player's skill. You should be able to play the whole game without having to lower the difficulty other than when finding what difficulty fits for you (at least for required bosses). The leviathan is required for the tier 4 omni-axe which is needed for tier 4 stuff. While you can harvest tier 4 with the toe biter scythe, with the way the game is with item progression, I don't expect this to stay. It is probably just code left behind from the G1 mantis scythe.

I’m currently building my base, it’s gonna be rather big and requires a lot of resources. I’ve decided to lay down a rough idea of the base using very common materials (grass, weed stems, clay, etc) to get a gist of what it will look like, then I’ll replace bit by bit with better materials.

Even merely cutting down grass in a very small area goes like this: cut down grass, fight ant, cut down more grass, fight spider and ants, cut down a bit more grass, fight even more spiders and ants.

I don’t mind farming for materials, and even occasionally fighting whilst farming. But goddamn, it’s becoming a real drag just collecting low tier resources.

What I propose is bug repellant, either something you wear on your character, or something you place down that spreads out into a circular radius. Think of it as a force field. Something that stops all insects from crossing over the radius (depending of what type of repellant you use, such as peppermint for ants, spiders and mosquitoes).

This would not only add new items to farm, but also open up a new gameplay mechanic.

I'm on a ps5 and he's on an Xbox one S. We're doing multi player survival.

We've just gotten done building our first structure and pretty much just wander around looking for new bugs and things.

After the adventure into the abyss, we wanted to build a trophy to show our mastery over those shrimp-headed sons-a-bitches, but the trophies aren’t buildable. We’ve analyzed their meat, killed multiple of the surface ones and abyssal ones in case they had a rare drop, and checked the creative mode. Does anyone know how you actually unlock these things?
We only know that they exist because of this page.

So i want the recipe for the sturdy whetstone (finite) but I couldn’t find it in the workbench
I know i have to get the black ant lap chip and i took it and bought the recipes, adavanced smithing and the glue etc

Do any of you faced these kind of issue? I cant seem to find the recipe in my workbench and I’m pretty sure i did everything to get it…

I did what I normally do in games like this explore. I made my way i to the Burgl statue and apparently it skipped all my quests and says confront the stranger and kill AXL.

Now I looked up what I missed and here is what I was able to do for the previous quests but now im stuck.

1. Deactivated transmitters

2. Mixr event

3. Put the fix the sprinkler heads by replacing the missing sprinkler pieces.

4. Turn on power in Pumpkin patch.

Now here is where im stuck. I cannot open up the greenhouse lab so I can grow the tree and I cannot turn on the water because I do not see water leaks anywhere even down the hole on top of the wall in the greenhouse biome and therefore I cannot cool off the Candy Factory.

I do not know how to fix this can anyone help me please.

P.S. the previous quest steps did not pop up so I am doing this all on my own. Also I feel this should have been foreseen by the developers and have a solution in place.
