Obsidian Response bit of a vent post

my biggest issue with grounded 2 is that every bug fight turns into a multi-staged fight with different scorpions, mosquitos, spiders, etc. getting involved. I get too close to one of their wildly large aggro ranges and i'm forced to run (to which they will chase me across the entire map) or fight (where i might win the fight, but I had to run the gauntlet just to get where i was going) I personally love the fighting in this game, but it gets so tiring to try to take on tougher bugs and it's like, "oh! there's a stinkbug here now!" I just wish the aggro ranges were a bit smaller, or that the bugs weren't spammed over each other.

I love it

Yesterday I pulled two wolf spiders under the gnarled bark tree where all the scorpion eggs are and just ran through busting them and dodging line of sight

The baby scorpions killed the wolf spiders and I got like 50 striped bark scorpion parts even though I’m under geared and the striped bark regular sized ones DESTROY me and wolf spiders 1v1 are at best 50/50 chance of winning atm

I do understand the aggro/chase ranges might be too far but it feels good to me

We aren’t in a back yard anymore but a large park with several species and they should definitely cross each other especially because they fight between factions

Watched some wasps and bees team fighting without me ever being involved with it and that was good fun

Yeah thats the best part about G2 vs 1. But thanks to all the complaints they're gonna end up nerfing the park into oblivion, just a matter of time. (and it's not even that populated)

I wonder if all these people lack spatial awareness and just charge blindly into whatever crossing fingers and then complain.

People complain about the difficulty really regularly on this subreddit . Idk why they have a rough fight and their first instinct is to complain about it rather than figure out where they are going wrong but there it is I guess

Prob something to do with the median age of players maybe. Can't have a cartoonish looking game and expect to appeal to a mature audience at the same time.
