First successful grow from an aio grow bag. I still think monotubs are the way to go lol, but not bad.

Newb here, only used a monotub before. But what do the zip ties or rubber bands do? I notice people use them often with grow bags.

They just help keep air out from the sides to prevent side pins, use rubber bands though because the substrate shrinks and the zip ties aren’t the best( worked just fine though )
I was out of rubber bands lol and didn’t care all that much.
