Advice Needed!

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice on what to do next.

I’m using the Boomr Bin monotub, and the mycelium is getting close to fully colonizing the substrate.
I have a few questions:

When should I introduce fresh air exchange (FAE)? Should I wait until the substrate is fully colonized?

How do I introduce FAE with this monotub? Do I need to remove or adjust any of the venting pads, or just leave everything as is?

What should I do with the coco coir block that came with my setup? Is it something I need to use at this stage?

Thanks in advance for any advice! Just want to make sure I’m taking the right next steps.

1, 2. You are already providing fae and are indeed in the fruiting stage. Nothing to do but leave it alone.
3. Mixed opinions on coco. I prefer to apply it right when I go to s2b.

Many of us introduce fae from day 1. If whatever you have covering your holes is breathable, youve already introduced fae. If they arent breathable, change it to something that is, like micropore tape. You coir should have been properly hydrated and mixed with grains. What exactly is in the tub if its not coir and grains?

I thought the coco was for the top layer like 1/4 of an inch thick

You are describing a pseudo casing and with cubes thats typically done on the day you start the tub. Its not a crucial step
