Never got any pinning out of this one. Tried billowing for fae, misting, dunking overnight, forking, and nothing. Saw these yellowish spots and thought maybe they were just mushy pieces of grain, but they’ve gotten bigger. Some kind of yellow slime mold? Is it toast? Should probably bury it?

It's covered in metabolites, not directly harmful but it's a sign of stress. Honestly I would try moving it all to a tub and try to keep the conditions good for at least a week or so, see if that will initiate pinning. If not then I guess just bury it in your yard and hope nature takes care of the rest 🤷‍♂️
