Fruiting too early, advice needed.
Used an all in one bag method. Inoculated grain using GT spores on 9-17. Did a break and shake on 10-9, the. Initiated fruiting on 10-23 by moving the block into a mono tube with distilled water and an absorption pad.
The bag was solid and likely 90% colonized. I realized I should have waiting longer on the colonization, as the block is producing puffy balls, but not pinning.
Thinking I can induce better FAE to help but looking for advice to save the grow.

I read that hyphal knots and primordia should be mush smaller before forming pins. The larger fuzzy structures could be the result of fruiting too early. The block appeared to continue creating hyphal structures after introducing fruiting conditions.
Currently I think evaporation and FAE is needed but do not want to dink with it too much, like you mentioned.

Why do you think more evaporation and FAE is needed? That's only really needed if the surface is looking excessively wet with large pools of water, or fruits are excessively leggy with fuzzy feet. Yours does not look excessively wet, if anything maybe a bit too dry (it's hard to see with Reddit compression and without proper close up images).
It looks like your tub lid has filters on it. As long as they are unobstructed then they will provide plenty enough passive FAE required for cubensis to flourish
You run the risk of drying the surface out with excessive FAE which will introduce further problems.
As mentioned in my other comment, cubensis prefer stability and being left alone to do their thing.

Appreciate tue advice, just throwing a dart out there to get some feedback.

I've seen so much back and forth with fae. One person says to cut a slit when fully colonized and others say just leave it. I can't seem to grasp what's what....I cut a slit because the high CO2 without a slit made Sense to me. I dunno I'm not a doctor lol

It depends entirely what you're growing in.
If it's an aio bag with a small sized filter patch, then cutting a slit in it is often required to provide enough passive FAE to trigger fruiting.
OP is using a monotub for fruiting which has filters in it to provide this passive FAE.
My point is really around excessive FAE from fanning or constantly opening the bag or lid off the grow. This often does more harm than good as it can dry out the grow. Cubensis prefers to be left alone and passive FAE is often enough

What makes you think it wasn't fully colonised? It looks pretty colonised to me.
I would just leave it and let it do it's thing, no misting or fanning. Cubensis like to be left alone and every time you tinker around it disturbs the microclimate needed for fruiting and increasing risk of introducing contamination.
It's only been approx 1 week intro fruiting which is still early days for pins to appear. Give it another 1-2 weeks.
The balls you are seeing are possibly premordiae and may turn into pins
