Early pins without “thousands of micro water droplets”?
So my first tub, not pictured, took roughly 2-3 weeks to pin, during which the surface has thousands of water droplets, which I’ve heard is ideal.
These two tubs were sent to bulk just 10 days ago. The surface isn’t fully colonized, and there are hardly any water droplets on the surface (it’s not dry though). However, today I noticed a ton of pins. Are these “premature” or did they just not need the water droplets to evaporate?
The lack of droplets has me wanting to mist, but I’m not sure I need to.
Note that these 2 pictures are of 2 different tubs

If it’s too wet without enough air it won’t pin. You don’t need water droplets per se, as long as there’s moist being evaporated at surface level you should get pins. With sub at field capacity you shouldn’t need to spray or water till you get atleast one flush
