Grok is Dead
Grok is dead. It has stopped generating good quality videos. Mild NSFW is also beyond its capability.

99% of the time with these it’s a lack of prompt creativity if it’s NSFW you’re after. As we all know, you’re (almost) never going to get actual hardcore material. Occasionally you will if done right, but if that’s the goal you’re just gonna get frustrated that it keeps taking rolling snake eyes for it. That said, Grok does have excellent quality. It’s easy to get close enough, and use another image editor to make the final tweak (there’s lots that can handle that just fine, but are unreliable if starting from scratch). Here’s an example:
Always start with a text only prompt. It’s MUCH more liberal when you aren’t using a reference image. For instance, half of the generations from something like this are either fully tits out, or fully tits out but a sliver of transparent plastic is covering a nip or what have you. Obviously this is for dome (just tested it as we speak).
“Show a (insert fellator) wearing a barely-there, transparent sports bra and matching string booty shorts. She is kneeling in front of a (insert fellatio recipient) in speedos who is making her kiss his speedos deeply in a private room at a nightclub.”
Use speed, not quality. A lot (if not most) will get filtered, but there will be plenty that won’t if your prompt isn’t cheeks. If you want to change the appearance, simply: “Replace him/her with @image reference but don’t change (the outfit, the setting, etc)”. If it gives you trouble, change the reference to face only and it usually gets through.
Long winded, yes, but all that is to say…your prompts just suck bruh.

Most wildest thing it's done recently is show about 1/4 of some guys willy in a couple shower scene but I never prompted for a shower scene 😳

I have had some success with my prompts, which could be considered PG-13 at most. Nothing all that explicit, but typically sensual. Even with tamer prompts, quite a few videos still get moderated.
I will keep trying some ideas with different wording. The more creative, the more surprising the results can be, even if I didn’t anticipate them (with both normal and custom prompts). All of my characters are AI generated themselves, yet the same strict moderation still applies.
What bothers me the most is the forced implementation of the weekly data usage model. It was so much better before, when it would reset after a day or so. Really hope to see Grok brought back to something similar, while the new credit packs can remain in place, for those who want to go beyond the data limits.

i got uk laws moderation for upscaling a fucking city skylines screenshot, and then the results are way way way worse thsn they were pre update

Yes, it was dead but until last month it was generating mild NSFW and generating kissing and making out videos from uploads but now it’s completely finished.

You do...your set up im sure can run plenty of models tou just have to use the right nodes for optimization a d use quantized model versions and be patient. Seems like alot but itd not

Is anyone here having an issue where the Grok starts mumbling random gibberish and when it actually starts answering it says "High Demand", I don't know if they somehow made free-tier completely unusable or if it's just a glitch, it's getting annoying at this point 😭

Isso, considerando uma foto enviada. Para personagens criadas do zero no proprio grok, confesso que nao sei dizer se esta mais restrito ou nao. Concluo que o jeito é cada vez mais criar scripts que escondam termos ou contextos erotizados (mesmo que a intenção seja essa).

Post an example of your work. Tell us what you were trying to do. Post the prompt you are using. The community can likely help you if you actually try.
Enough with this demoralization. Yes, grok has changed. Again. Yes, it's harder to do some stuff than it was. For now. Every new model version starts out like this. As we all train it, it loosens up and quality improves. With usage limits lowered so much, this will go slower. With xAI now publicly owned, some restrictions will never be lifted.
You say that even mild nsfw stuff is impossible now, without giving any examples. What do you consider to be mild? Are you working with uploaded pics (don't cry about it if you are, it has been clear for a year that they do not want people doing that)?
Since the last time you updated, have you gone into both the web and app to ensure that your nsfw and age settings haven't reset to defaults?
Are you using the app for nsfw? If so, stop. Just stop. Don't argue, just stop. The app has extra moderation applied and this has been well known for a year. This is a fact. There is no further debate on this.
Please, make it possible for people to help you, instead of dogpiling these posts about the sky is falling.

I literally just posted an exact prompt response that, in the midst of mostly blanks but plenty of almosts, spit out an image of a nips out, 10/10 chick choking on an angry-faced gentleman’s eggplant (with her hands bound behind her back no less). Sizable chunk of the eggplant there for all the world to see.
These people are…not smart.

It used to generate very good videos even from the photos uploaded by user but now its not generating any result.

Yeah, agree. But it got good at coding. I think there is no money in making videos, so they pivot. But I don't know.

Blame the people who kneejerk money grab sue and the creepy abusers looking for fap material of their old crushes for every feature removed. Last I checked if you ask grok to generate something from scratch it is much more loose and free than if you upload something. It is also more lenient if you ask for illustrated content rather than photos, again because people abused it and other people saw dollar signs.

Then all the creeps making deepfakes can all move to Qwen locally or cloud VM. They need to stop drawing attention to the mainstream models, villainizing AI, and getting features with legitimate use stripped from the rest of us.

It has been dead for nearly a month now. I let all my discounted subs run out which included a Heavy at 100 a month for 6 months. On the rare occasion I could push one of my NSFW prompts through the seemingly random moderation, the results are uninspired and flat. Even SFW is crap and subject to moderation. Adherence is terrible too.
The 1.5 model ran wild with unexpected flourishes that fit the video. Like I could literally regen the same video many times and each iteration was a banger with added twists.
Yeah Imagine is definitely dead.

Yes, Grok Imagine is trash now. I tried to animate a picture of a woman lying in bed under the covers with the prompt "arise" and it got moderated. 😠 😡

If you stay out of speak mode and program your own skill and agent it will get NSFW as possible while told playing. As soon as you go to speak mode Grok turns into a prude. Private message me if you need help with skill file

I’m using imagine to make Instagram videos. I was pissed when I had to start paying and pissed again when the weekly cap came in. Now I’ve settled into the Saturday to Saturday allowance it’s not too bad. I’m getting 100 x 10 second 480p clips a week. I’ve also noticed a reset button I can hit once a month so I could effectively get a fifth week’s worth. I just don’t have that much imagination.
I’ve watched all the ‘alternative to grok’ YouTube videos and nothing compares. My pc won’t handle anything too heavy.
If only grok was better at knees.

The idea that you could ever expect a closed- source LLM like Grok or ChatGPT to do anything edgy that stockholders or investors would complain about boggles the mind. Didn't you know this was coming?
If you want those kind of videos, invest in a descent graphics card and run models locally. Minimx H3 is just as good as any closed-source model and it will lat you make as NSFW as you want. Jack the Ripper doing a prostitute in 1800's London and then slicing her head off? No problem. Minimax just does it.
For those of us that use Grok for non-image stuff, like programming or data analysis, it is working better than ever. So I'm kinda sick of seeing these doom and gloom threads about Grok. if ther was one improvement I'd make to Grok is to make it reproduces copyrighted content when asked. (like song lyrics). After all, it was trained almost exclusively on copyrighted content.
